When I worked as the Executive Director cum Education Consultant for Indian Institute of Development in India, I registered my self for Masters in Computer Applications Course in the year 1998 and finished the course successfully in the year 2000. That gave me a ‘back-office’ understanding of computers and then onwards was passionate to learn new technologies which helped me in my career to a large extent.
From 1977-80, the time I spent in Christ College (now Christ University), Bangalore, India is immemorial as that was the first time I left my own state, Tamil Nadu, after my schooling in Thanjavur and my foundation studies in Trichirappalli. Everything and every person looked different for me. Their language, culture and custom was different. I had to learn English as there were many students from different states who do not speak Tamil, my mother tongue.
